We need the ability to zoom into the roadway to an extent where we can see ground features and then measure distances between features. The features might be quite a ways apartas shown below.

To accurately measure you need to be zoomed in to a much greater extent. This often means that the two features you want to measure between are not on the screen at the same time.
In ArcMap you can scroll along the highway using the Scroll arrows at the bottom of the screen to get a continuous measurement. In AWLRS there are no scroll arrows at the bottom of the page and when you try to use the Pan tool to move along the highway the Measurement tool turns off. We have not been able to find a way todo a continuous measurement along a highway over multiple screens in AWLRS. We would like to see this ability added.
